This announcement is a bit late, but we would like to welcome our six lovely new collie ladies (all!) to the place! Lorna did a great job and all are thriving and growing so quickly. We are enjoying all the snuggles and looking forward to hopefully retaining for our breeding program this time through! We have had lots of interest in this litter and homes have already been spoken for. Can't wait to see who these beauties turn into!

Please contact us for FBA registration numbers of parents to get more information on lineage. Best way to inquire would be to select a gender/column and number down (ie: right ram lamb, 9th down for lamb adjacent.)
Our ewe lamb stock is black this year. Rams come in black, badger (black,) white, white spotted, and brown.
More adult ewes from top to bottom are Ida (3-25-2020) who twinned this year with no issues whatsoever. She has a lovely fleece and is nice. We just need to scale back more on black colors.
Agnes is the second ewe who is a yearling ewe (2-1-21.) We did not sell her last year as she had somehow escaped from the barn at night. We wanted to be sure she was solid on her feet. She needed very little nursing and bounced back quickly. She is a very loving and healthy girl!
Bliss has lambed twice for us (2-6-19.) Triplets twice. She has been a good sheep for us and an excellent mom.
The yearling ram on the right here is Checkers (2-20-21.) He's a good boy with a pretty fleece.
The last ram we have listed is Jaimie (2-5-20.) He has already proved a competent breeder over Ida (above.) Lovely fleece with dalmatian father in his pedigree. An easy fellow and friendly.
Some of our lambs have a halo which drops out as they age into their lovely adult fleeces. Some of the sheep listed here are already sold and not all sold sheep are listed. Please do inquire to learn more.

This blog chronicles our very full life here on WoodSong Farm. We will share everything from dog to sheep stories, unique wooly works, to animal husbandry tips we pick up along the way. I hope this helps to give you an idea of what our extended farm family and wooly projects are like, and that we may somehow benefit everyone who reads about our journey.
And if you're really fortunate, you'll get to hear from my daughter, The Bonnie Blue Forager along the way!
